Visitation Details

Helpful things to know before coming to the Mount Saint Mary House of Prayer:

• All bed linens and towels are provided.  We ask that you bring your pillow(s) during this COVID-19 time.
• There is no coin-operated washer and dryer.
• The House of Prayer is a smoke-free facility.
• Meals are simple and nutritious. If you have special dietary needs, please contact us before arrival. 
• Wear comfortable clothing.
• Bring your Bible and journal. 
• Since the House of Prayer is on the beautiful grounds of Mount Saint Mary Academy, there is ample space for walking. Included on the grounds is the lovely Queen of Peace Garden.
• Easy access to nearby parks and nature settings: Tamaques Park, Echo Lake Park, and Watchung Reservation.
• Contemplative Healing Touch is offered at the House of Prayer. Contact us before arrival to see if this is possible during your retreat experience. Cost is $50-$60 (as you are able).
